WHO ARE THE EEIM ?

The EEIM (European Electrical Insulation Manufacturers) is a forward thinking, non-profit making professional body comprising many leading names in the electrical insulation industry.

The goal of the EEIM is to promote the interest and concerns of it's members on national and international levels, with regards to aspects such as the environment, specifications, and government policies.

	EEIM SEMINAR 2010
	EEIM together with the University of Manchester (Prof. Zhongdong Wang) organised a two-day Seminar with the title: “Electrical Insulation for Transformers – Materials, Design, Reliability & Performance, Testing, Research & Development”. Date: 14th & 15th September 2010, Venue: University of Manchester.
	John Neil Award 2011
	Panagiotis Charalampidis from Cardiff School of Engineering is the winner of the 2011 John Neil Award of EEIM. The title of the paper is: "Textured Insulators for Overhead Lines and Substations" .Michael Chapman, Chairman of the EEIM Award Committee and Tom Eland ,Vice Chairman of the EEIM Association handed over the prize during an Award Ceremony held in Cardiff in September.
