EEIM SEMINAR 2010

EEIM together with the University of Manchester (Prof. Zhongdong Wang) organised a two-day Seminar with the title:
“Electrical Insulation for Transformers – Materials, Design, Reliability & Performance, Testing, Research & Development”.

Date: 14th & 15th September 2010, Venue: University of Manchester.

There were selected titles of presentations and for each presentation there were invited speakers.

 

 

EEIM JOHN NEAL AWARD 2010

The EEIM would like to announce the winner of the 2010 EEIM John Neal Award.

After much deliberation, the award committee came to a decision based on technical content, practical application, originality and presentation and the winning submission this year came from the RWTH Aachen University – Germany (Prof. A. Schnettler).

The € 5.000,00 prize for the 2010 John Neal Award will be presented to Mr. Andrey Mashkin for his paper entitled “Analysis on the Electrical Properties of Syntactic Foam Under Various DC Field Stresses”, which was judged by the award committee as the best application overall to meet the award criteria.

 

 

EEIM Annual General Meeting 2011

The next EEIM AGM 2011 will take place at Crowne Plaza Hotel Berlin on Monday, May 23, 2011.
