EEIM is a European Industry association, not a commercial enterprise. Our legal seat is Breitenbach / Switzerland. We are registered as a “Verein” (club) in the “Vereinsregister “of the Breitenbach Municipality. EEIM is a non-profit organization.
According to GDPR (EU General Data Protection Regulation), member state and Swiss legislation we are a service provider to our members. As such we are responsible for our own website contents. However, as a service provider we are not obliged, to control data transmitted or third-party information stored or to investigate for any illegal activities.
The obligation to delete certain data or blocking data remains valid in accordance with local legislation. A liability is only possible at the time of getting knowledge about any illegal action. As soon as we do have such knowledge about a breach of laws, we shall immediately remove such information.
