2017 Annual General Meeting

The 2017 Annual General Meeting took place in Berlin on June 19th ,2017 at the Steigenberger Hotel Berlin. The attendance by our members was very good and we could again welcome new members. The keynote speech was held by Andreas Meier-Schwickerath from the British Chamber of Commerce in Germany on “BREXIT- Status and Outlook”. John-Neal- Award 2017

The winner of the 2017 John Neal Award is Anh Hoanh from Chalmers University for Technology in Sweden. His paper: “Electrical conduction in low-density polyethylenes and its nanocomposites” Unfortunately, Anh Huang was not able to attend the AGM for a presentation of his paper. The Chairman of the Award Committee, Dr. Michael Chapman gave a summary. A synopsis of the paper is available in the members section of this website.
